James Joseph Murphy

James Joseph Murphy, 59 passed away unexpectedly on Monday July 27, 2015.

He was born on February 14, 1956 the son of Peter and Violet (Patterson) Murphy.

Mr. Murphy was currently employed as a mechanic with Callander's Nursery and Landscaping and had previously been employed at the Catamount Ski Area.

An avid outdoorsmen, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and a good game of horseshoes.

Surviving besides his parents is his wife, Fiorella (Cirone) Murphy; his children, Tabitha McNear, Jonathan Murphy, Matthew Murphy, Kelsey Murphy and Spencer Murphy. He also leaves his grandchildren, Hunter, Megan, Kristen and Madison along with his siblings, Colleen Daigle, Heather Reed, Daniel Murphy and Margaret McDarby. His canine companion Bella will miss him greatly.

Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Thursday August 6, 2015 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 8063 State Route 22, Copake NY 12516.
