James A. Brinson Jr

Millerton, NY - James A. Brinson Jr., 48, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Sharon Health Care Center in Sharon, CT.

He was born on January 4, 1962 in Poughkeepsie, NY the son of James A. and Emma (Hudson) Brinson Sr. both of Millerton, NY.

He was a graduate of Millbrook High School.

James was a heavy equipment operator for the New York State Thruway Authority.

On November 10, 1984 in Verbank, NY he married Dawn (Bellamy) Brinson. She survives him at home.

In addition to his parents and wife survivors include three sons, James A. Brinson III of Millerton, NY; Michael Brinson of Millerton, NY; Jonathan Brinson of Millerton, NY; two daughters, Michelle Brinson of Mahopac, NY; Emma Brinson of Millerton, NY; two sisters, Ella Stevens of Millerton, NY; Robin Dennard of Poughkeepsie, NY; two brothers, Alvin Brinson of Macon, GA; Melvin Brinson Sr. of Millerton, NY. He also is survived by his grandson, Kayden Brinson, several nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours.

Funeral services are 1 pm, on Friday, May 28, 2010 at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home South Main St. Pine Plains, NY 12567.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
