Irene Fournier

Irene Fournier, 83 a longtime resident of Copake, NY passed away after a long illness on Sunday November 1, 2015 at Fairview Commons in Gt. Barrington, MA.

She was born on June 14, 1932 in Irasburg, VT a daughter of Lorenzo and Rosilda (Landry) Girouard.

Irene enjoyed many hobbies including bowling, knitting, bird watching and especially spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Leonard. Irene also leaves her children, Anita and her wife Kelly, son Rene and his wife Karen, son Donald and his wife Gail and son Ronald and his wife. She also leaves four grandchildren, Abigail Fournier, Danny Fournier, Ashley Kristjansson and Michael Fournier along with two great grandchildren, Dustin and Kaitlyn.

She was pre deceased by her eldest son George on June 27, 1992.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday November 7, 2015 at 11 AM from the Parish of Our Lady of Hope at 8074 State Route 22 in Copake Falls, NY.

Friends are invited and may call on Friday November 6, 2015 from 6 - 8 PM at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 8063 State Route 22 in Copake Falls, NY.

Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family in New St. Bridget's Cemetery.
