Henry G. Parsons, 93 of State Route 22 in North Hillsdale, NY passed away on Saturday April 24, 2010 at the Timberlyn Heights Nursing Center in Gt. Barrington, MA.

He was born on April 13, 1917 in Mt. Vernon, NY to Harry and Ida (Webber) Parsons.

Henry had lived locally for the past 85 years and had been employed as a winder with the General Electric Corporation in Pittsfield, MA. While employed at GE he also owned and operated a small family dairy farm in North Hillsdale.

Mr. Parson was an avid fan of all kind of trains especially steam trains.

He was pre - deceased by his wife, Beulah (Hassom) Parsons in 1981 along with two sisters, Ginny Pulver and Helen Buccheri.

Survivors include three sons, Millard Parsons of Gt. Barrington, MA; Richard Parsons of Austerlitz, NY and Ronald Parsons of North Hillsdale. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Lisa Casey, Richard H. Parsons, Heidi Mielke, Arron Parsons, Sybil Reed, James Parsons and Tracey Faggoni. Additionally he leaves eighteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren

Friends are invited and may call on Thursday April 29, 2010 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, 8063 State Route 22 in Copake, NY.

A Memorial Service will follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Juanita Middlebrook, pastor of the North Hillsdale United Methodist Church officiating.

Private interment will be at the convenience of the family in the North Hillsdale Cemetery.
