Henry W. Franzone died on August 2, 2021 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, Connecticut just a few days shy of his 80th birthday.

Henry was born in the Bronx on Fordham Road, August 9, 1941 of parents Dr. Mario A. Franzone DDS and Amalia C. Bianchi, sister of former NYS Senator Dr. William Bianchi Esquire. Henry or “Hank” as he was professionally known, is a graduate of Don Bosco Prep, in Ramsey, New Jersey followed by a degree in Economics plus ROTC  training at the University of Cincinnati. After completing service in the US Army as a Lieutenant stateside, he pursued a career in Industrial Sales leading to a sole proprietorship selling contract office furniture to dealers as well as acting as a manufacturer’s representative in both the US and Canada. Hank Franzone’s territory included all of New England and the entire New York Tri-State area where he built a reputation as a legend in the industry.

He is survived by his wife, Joan, sister Marie (Lee) Kaplowitz of Montville, ME, daughter Molly Franzone-Wilkinson, son-in-law Rob Wilkinson of Haverford, PA, son Adam Franzone, daughter-in-law Vianneida Franzone, two grandchildren Beatrice and Camila of the Bronx/Mastic Beach, NY and niece Lynne Kaplowitz of Montville, ME as well as number of close relatives and great friends.

Henry was preceded in death by parents Mario and Amalia Franzone, niece Lori Kaplowitz and granddaughter Anna Sofia Wilkinson.

Celebratory plans regarding the life of Henry W. Franzone will be determined in the near future at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you go out to a restaurant with loved ones and enjoy yourselves in honor of Henry.
