Henry "Hank" Blush, 85 of Copake, NY passed away on September 18, 2014 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, NY.
He was born on July 23, 1929 in Howard Beach, NY the son of Henry and Amelia Blush.
Henry worked for 35 years for the General Motors Acceptance Corp in New York City in the accounting department. He was an avid bowler, enjoyed participating in the GMAC bowling league for many years and was proud of his 299 game.
After retiring from GMAC he and his wife Edith moved from Woodhaven, Queens to Copake.
He honorably served his country for two years with the United States Army during the Korean War. Henry was a life member and Quartermaster of the Cadby - Shutts VFW Post 7552 in Hillsdale, NY.
He enjoyed fishing in Robinson Pond at Taconic Shores and was an active member of the Roe Jan Area Young at Hearters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Edith (Borwick) Blush of Copake. He was pre deceased by a sister, Edith Henderson of Beacon, NY.
Friends are invited and may call on Tuesday September 23, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 8063 Route 22 in Copake, NY.
Interment with military honors will be held on Wednesday September 24, 2014 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
