Helen M. Hall

Helen M. Hall, longtime Hillsdale resident, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2022 at Fairview Commons in Great Barrington. She was born on December 19, 1930 in White Plains, the daughter of David and Anna (Donnelly) Walker.

Helen attended Roe Jan School and was a loving homemaker. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Hope in Copake where she served on the Altar-Rosary Society. Helen was a staple of the Hillsdale community over the years. She will be remembered for sitting on her front porch and waving with a smile to everyone coming into Hillsdale. Except those exceeding the speed limit, then she wasn't as friendly. Helen loved Hillsdale, and wished to thank all who knew her over the years. She definitely will be missed sitting on her swing over seeing Hillsdale, her many friends and family.

Helen is survived by her children, Richard (Anna) Hall, Colleen Hall, David (Deb) Hall, Robert (Sonja) Hall, four grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Richard.

In keeping with Helen's wishes, burial will take place privately in Hillsdale Rural Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to either the Hillsdale Fire Company or the Community Rescue Squad.
