Harry B. Hoffman

Pine Plains, NY - Harry B. Hoffman, 79, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT.

Harry was born in Pine Plains, NY on August 13, 1931, the son of the late Harry A. and Ida Hoffman.

He was a member of the Future Farmers of America.

He was a dairy farmer and he also worked as a heavy machine operator for the Pine Plains Highway Department.

On February 25, 1959 he married Lois (Coffin) Hoffman. She predeceased him on February 11, 1996.

Survivors include a son, Terry B. Hoffman of Pine Plains, NY; a daughter, Debbie Ann Hoffman of Plainfield, CT; two sisters, Helen Swart of Pine Plains, NY; Mary Ella Wesley of Hudson Falls, NY; a brother, Gary Hoffman of Pine Plains, NY; and four grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a sister Erna.

Calling hours are from 4 to 6 pm on Friday, September 10, 2010 at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home South Main St. Pine Plains, NY.

Private services will be held on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery Pine Plains, NY.
