Pine Plains, NY - Gloria "Jean" Funk, 86, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY.
She was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on November 17, 1926 the daughter of the late Alfred and Marie (Hart) Dillinger Sr.
Mrs. Funk was a secretary for Heritage Mutual Insurance Company in Pine Plains, NY.
On July 8, 1944 in Stanfordville, NY she married Lester Funk Jr. He survives her at home.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons, Lester and his wife Sandra Funk III of Pine Plains, NY; Gary and his wife Karen Funk of Pine Plains, NY; three grandsons, Lester IV, Daniel and Randy; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Darra and her husband Fred Finkle of Stanfordville, NY; a brother William and his wife Janet Dillinger of Stanfordville, NY. She was also predeceased by five sisters and two brothers.
There are no calling hours.
Funeral service and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
