Gail M. Killmer

Hillsdale - Gail M. Killmer, 62, a longtime resident of Hillsdale, NY, and formerly of Millerton, NY passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on June 26, 1949 in Mahopac, NY, the daughter of Freda (Houghtaling) Harpp of Millerton, NY and the late William Harpp.

On December 22, 1969 in Pine Plains, NY, she married Walter R. Killmer. Mr. Killmer survives her at home.

Gail was previously employed as an aide, cook and activity director for Timberlyn Heights Nursing Home in Gt. Barrington, MA.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her mother, Freda Harpp of Millerton; a son, Steven Killmer of Hillsdale; a sister, Beverly MacDonald of Millerton; and two grandsons, Shane and Cole Hotaling of Copake.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Brenda Hotaling in 2006, and a brother, Robert Harpp in 2010.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2011 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 8063 Route 22, Copake, NY 12516.

Funeral Services will begin at 1 PM.

Private interment will be in the West Copake Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
