Frank C. Elsbree Jr., 78, of Stanfordville, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2021 at Fishkill Center for Rehab. & Nursing in Beacon. He was born on May 10, 1943 in Rhinebeck to the late Frank C. Elsbree Sr. and Malone (Shook) Elsbree. Frank was the full-time caretaker of Camp Watitoh, in Becket, Massachusetts for over twenty years prior to retiring. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Frank was a long-time member of the Pine Plains Future Farmers of America. He had a good heart and a love for animals, especially his dog, Lucky.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Laura (William) Blanchard. His granddaughter, Megan Blanchard, and sisters; Mary (Cliff) Scribner and Marie (Michael) Knapp. Also surviving are two nephews Michael Knapp Jr. and Daniel Scribner. Along with his former wife, Shirley Brandt.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother Carter J. Elsbree.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Monday, November 8th in Stanford Cemetery. Everyone who wishes to attend is asked to please meet at the Stanford Cemetery.
