Pine Plains, NY - It is will great sadness that Melinda D'Alessio Vazquez, daughter of Francis James D’Alessio announces his passing at the age of 79, at home with her and the family on January 23, 2018.
Francis (Frank) severed in the United States Navy from 1955-1961. After his time served he worked in Hartford Machine as a toolmaker.
Frank’s father, Angelo D’Alessio, mother, Anne D’Alessio and Josephine Lemery (D’Alessio) sister, predeceased him.
Frank is survived by family and Friends.
Frank had a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and spending time by the water.
He was a genuine man, and father. He would always tell you the truth even if you didn’t want to hear it, and if he didn’t like you he would let you know, he was not one to pretend to be your friend.
Frank will always be remembered as the man who lived his life his way. In the last days, Frank lived his life the way he wanted, home smoking his last cigarette and taking his last drink of Vodka and he wouldn’t have done it any other way
