Frances Montemorra

Frances Montemorra  passed away on December 13, 2024, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, at the age of 80. Born on June 9, 1944, in Scotland, to the late Alex and Gertrude (Wilson) Keith. Frances dedicated many years to her career as a bookkeeper for Home Depot in Agawam, Massachusetts. Her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to her work earned her the respect of her colleagues. After retiring, her and Jim moved to New Mexico to be closer to family. As her health declined, they moved back to New York, the area that they both loved. 

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her devoted husband, James Montemorra. Frances is survived by her children, Paul (Kathy) Vadney, Lynn Gates, Jeff (Zina) Vadney, Amanda (Stephen), and Tabatha Montemorra. Frances also cherished many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose lives she touched with her warmth and guidance.She is remembered fondly by her sister, Trudy Wilson, and her nieces and nephews: Debbie Coburn, Doreen O'Sullivan, George, and Bill Wilson.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Gertrude Keith, as well as her sister, Kristina Riddell. 

In keeping with her wishes, services will be held at the convenience of the family.
