Ezra J. Link

Ezra J. Link, 82 of Copake, NY passed away on Monday August 10, 2015 at his residence.

He was born on August 18, 1932 in Copake to Ezra J. and Marion (Smith) Link.

A self employed mechanic, he previously had worked at both the Preusser and Dykeman Garages.

A pitmaster, Mr. Link prepared BBQ dinners for over 30 years for the Pine Plains Lions Club and several local fire companies. An avid hunter, he was a member of the Oxbow Club in Hillsdale, life member of the Craryville Fire Company and was a longtime horse owner and trainer in the harness racing industry.

On April 7, 1962 in West Copake he married Patti (Konig) Link who survives him at home.

Besides his wife he leaves a son and daughter in law, Ezra and Kristine Link of Copake and three grandchildren, Aleshia, Michelle and Kathleen Link. He also leaves his niece Drinda Post and other nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 23nd at the Link Residence.
