Ancram, NY - Evelyn Briggs, 77, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, NY.
She was born on March 12, 1939 in Pawling, NY.
She was a commercial bus driver for the Loop System in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Evelyn was the most loving mother and patient women in the world. She would put everyone's concerns first, also worrying about her family.
In Pleasant Valley, NY of 1959 she married Frederick G. Briggs. He survives her at home.
In addition to her loving husband Frederick, survivors include her children, Pearl, Evelyn, Fred, Andy, Chris, and April; a brother, Gene; grandma's pride and joys were Brianna Johnson and Christopher Godin.
Calling hours are 1 to 4 pm on Saturday, August 27, from Peck & Peck Funeral Home 7749 South Main St. Pine Plains, NY.
Funeral service and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
