Estelle Marie Chapman, 84, of Pine Plains, New York died, Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania to the late George and Kathleen Wilson. Estelle was obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Atlantic City, NY, when she met the love her life Clarence, while he was stationed in the Navy. They were married on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 1954 and would have celebrated 63 years of marriage this year. They made great friends in their beloved, Pine Plains, NY community, where they spent the majority of their retirement. Estelle took great pride in her home, was a great cook, and an avid gardener. The love she had for her home, family and friends is a sentiment to the way her memory and legacy will be cherished. Survivors include her husband Clarence B. Chapman of Pine Plains, NY; daughter, Marykathleen Chapman Porter of Mt. Pleasant, SC; sons, Brian (Donna) Chapman of Westport, CT and Scot (Anne) Chapman of Lititz, PA; daughter-in-law, Roseanne Scocozza of Bronx, NY; sisters, Georgine Carney of Warminster, PA, Dortheann Parker of Roslyn, PA, Rosemary Dawley, of Warrington, PA, and Kathleen Rapp of Warrington, PA; grandchildren, Ashley Porter (Gregory) Robinson, Clayton, Matthew, Colby, Connor and Katherine Chapman; her only great grandchild, that she had the pleasure of meeting, 8 month old Harper Lillian Robinson; and her beloved companion, a 14 year old, rescued black lab, Tahoe. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Richard Chapman. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the www.shrinershospitals.org/Donate.

Interment services will be held on Thursday July 18, 2019 at 10 AM in the Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains NY. The Rev. Kent Wilson of St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church will officiate
