Ernest Storti, 98 of County Route 7 in Copake, NY passed away on Saturday March 27, 2010 at Gt. Barrington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Gt. Barrington, MA.
He was born on April 29, 1911 in Gt. Barrington, MA a son of Basilo and Lino (Molano) Storti.
Ernie was a highly regarded self employed mason in the tri - state area and was a former member of the Bricklayers, Masons, Plasterers, Marble, Tile & Terrazzo Workers Union # 6 in New York State.
He was a longtime member of the Craryville Rod and Gun Club and among his passions was fox hunting and raising hounds for that purpose.
Ernie was pre -deceased by his wife Mary (Graham) Storti on March 27, 2000 and also by five siblings.
Survivors include a daughter, Ellen Louise Palmer - Horton of Lakeville, CT and a son, Paul D. Storti of Copake, NY. He also leaves two grandaughters, Melissa Johnson of Carmel, NY and Tamara Mansfield of Kingston, NY along with ten great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be at the convenience of the family.
