Elinor M. Harrison

Pine Plains, NY - Elinor M. Harrison, 84, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT.

She was born in Sharon, CT on September 22, 1926, the daughter of the late William Cahill and Myrtle (Funk) Cahill.

On June 27, 1948 she married Raymond C. Harrison in Millbrook, NY. He predeceased her in 1979.

Mrs. Harrison was a custodian for twelve years at the Pine Plains Central School District.

Survivors include her son, Raymond M. Harrison of Pine Plains, NY; one brother, Harry Cahill of Endicott, NY; one sister, Ruth Ann Pulver of Pine Plains, NY; and five grandchildren, Cassandra M. Harrison, R.J. Harrison, Corey Harrison, Chad Harrison and Jason Harrison.

She was predeceased by a son Richard W. Harrison, a grandson, Richard Harrison, a brother, Matthew Cahill, and a sister, Mildred Montemorra.

There are no calling hours.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Friday, December 3, 2010 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Pine Plains, NY, Rev. Carol Miller officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the Dutchess County SPCA, 796 Violet Ave., Hyde Park, NY 12538.
