Elinor Fox

Elinor Fox, 95, a long time resident of Millerton, New York. Passed away on November 2, 2023. She was born on September 11, 1928 in  Bretz, West Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Popp. She was predeceased by her husband William Fox in 2003.

Elinor was a talented seamstress, quilter, knitter & crocheter. She was also very skilled with crafts, including stained-glass, wood working, and calligraphy. She was also a very welcoming home maker known for her cooking and baking. Over her life time she belonged to several book clubs which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Elinor is survived by her daughter Anna Marie and her husband Arthur Broadie. Her son John Fox. Three grandchildren; Andrew, Michael & Francis.

A time for sharing memories and offering condolences will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 2:00 to 6:00pm at Peck & Peck Funeral Homes, 7749 S. Main Street, Pine Plains, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11:00 AM from St. Anthony’s Church, 67 Poplar Avenue, Pine Plains. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains. Donations is Elinor’s memory may be made to St. Anthony’s Church.
