Elaine B. Decker

Elaine B. Decker, 93 of Ancramdale, NY passed away on July 28, 2013 at her residence.

She was born on November 15, 1919 in Ancram, daughter of Fred and Laura (Studley) Hoysradt.

A lifelong area resident Mrs. Decker had previously been employed at Becton - Dickinson in Canaan, CT and Lakeville Precision Moulding in Lakeville. She also operated the Brown Cup Diner in Millerton for a few years and later became the night supervisor in the housekeeping department at Sharon Hospital until her retirement in 1985.

She was pre deceased by her husband Harold in 1974, a brother Frederick (Bud) Hoysradt and two sisters, Marjorie Decker and Hilda Sherman.

Survivors include her sons, Harold Jr. and wife Carol Decker of Millerton, NY and Robert Decker of Copake, NY. She also leaves six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Also a brother, Alton Hoysradt of Elizaville, NY along with several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are with the Peck and Peck Funeral Home of Copake, NY.
