Dorothy Rossignol

Dorothy Rossignol, 72 of Ancramdale, NY passed away on Sunday January 9, 2011 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.

She was born in Maine on July 29, 1938.

Mrs. Rossignol had previously been employed in the housekeeping department at Sharon Hospital and by Lakeville Precision Moulding and Becton - Dickinson. Most recently she worked at the Past & Presents Gift Shop in Hillsdale, NY.

Dorothy was a member of AARP and an avid bingo player.

On February 28, 1959 she married Ellwood Rossignol who pre deceased her in 2008.

Survivors include a brother, Alan Potwin of Fryeburg, ME and two sisters, Brenda Rand of Oxford, ME and Elaine Thompson of North Fryeburg, ME. She also leaves a sister in law, Mary Snyder of Florida and many extended family members.

Friends are invited and may call on Friday January 14, 2011 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, Route 22 in Copake, NY.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains, NY.
