Dorothy Krauss Borghard

Hendersonville, NC - Dorothy Krauss Borghard, 94, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013. She had resided in Hendersonville, NC since 1979.

Previously, she was a summer and later full time resident of Hillsdale, NY for many years.

Mrs. Borghard was born in Newark, NJ on August 25, 1918 the daughter of the late John F.O. and Jane E. (Sands) Krauss.

Survivors include two daughters, Jane B. Ryan (Michael J.) of Wilkesboro, NC; Sally B. Conklin (Dennis P.) of Hendersonville, NC; a granddaughter, Jennifer C. Walker (James A.) of Zirconia, NC; and a great grandson.

Mrs. Borghard was predeceased by her husband, Eugene H. Borghard in 1976. She was also predeceased by three brothers, Francis P., George A. and Harold Krauss, as well as a grandson.

There are no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held at10 am, on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the North Hillsdale Rural Cemetery in North Hillsdale, NY.
