Dawn Mary Turro

Stanfordville, NY - Dawn Mary Turro, 49, died suddenly at home on Monday, February 8, 2010, after a ten year battle with breast cancer.

She was born on January 18, 1961 in Mount Kisco, NY the daughter of the late MaryJo (Gallo) Freyer and Gerhard and his wife Sandra Freyer of Hopewell Junction, NY.

She graduated from John Jay High School in 1979.

Dawn enjoyed reading and spending time at home with her family and pets.

On September 4, 1988 in Shrub Oak, NY she married Robert M. Turro. He survives at home.

In addition to her loving husband, survivors include two daughters, Marissa and Arianna Turro; her father, Gerhard Freyer and his wife Sandra; a sister, Kim Fuentes and her husband Louis, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Pat and Irene Turro.

Calling hours are 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home South Main St. Pine Plains, NY.

Funeral services are 10 am on Friday, February 12, from the Peck & Peck Funeral Home South Main ST. Pine Plains, NY 12567 with Rev. Carol Miller officiating.

Interment will follow at the convenience of the family.
