David C. Stickles, died at his residence in Millerton, NY on Saturday May 21, 2011 after a long battle of rectal cancer.
David was born on May 13, 1942 to the late Raymond and Sylvia (Scism) Stickles in Hudson, NY.
He served with the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Millerton American Legion.
David is survived by his wife Beverly and daughters, Davida J. Milano and Amanda E. Long. Also 7 grandchildren, Tyler Recchia, Christopher and Makayla Milano, Cadence Shufelt, Alex, Aaron and Noah Long. He also leaves his brothers, Raymond, Herman, Joseph, Conrad, Thomas and Robert Stickles along with his sisters, Beverly Brazee, Alice Palmer, Marie Ann Cade, Sylvia Wendover and Lu-Ann Brizzie. He is also survived by several brother and sister in laws and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited and may call on Tuesday May 24, 2011 from 3 - 5 PM at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, S. Main St. in Pine Plains, NY.
A service will follow the visitation beginning at 5 PM at the funeral home.
Interment services will be private.
