Daniel A. Glidden

Daniel A. Glidden, 69 of State Route 23, "The Old Mink Farm", in Hillsdale, NY passed away on February 14, 2010 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA.

He was born on May 6, 1940 in Gt. Barrington, MA the son of the late Daniel A. Glidden Sr. and Jean (Veronezi) Glidden Marston.

A lifelong area resident, he was a property owner and landlord.

He was a United States Army veteran and was a member of the Cadby - Shutts VFW Post #7552 based in Hillsdale.

Dan was an avid flyer and enjoyed building radio remote controlled model airplanes.

Survivors include his son and daughter in law, Daniel K. and Christina Glidden of Leeds, NY; his companion of 29 years Susan Snyder of Hillsdale; his grandchildren, Kevin, Kathy and Grace Glidden and an aunt, Esther Anderson of Stockport, NY. In addition he leaves his precious cat Simba along with many local friends and extended family members.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday February 20, 2010 at 11 AM fro the Parish of Our Lady of Hope, 8074 State Route 22 in Copake Falls, NY with the Rev. Joseph Falletta officiating.

There are no calling hours.
