Creig C. Horton

Stanfordville, NY - Creig C. Horton, 64, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at home. He was born in Rhinebeck, NY on July 18, 1948the son of the late Charles T. "Chub" and Elizabeth (Karn) Horton.

Mr. Horton retired as manger from IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY. The past six years he has work for the Stanford Machine Shop in Stanfordville, NY.

He was an avid golfer and fisherman and enjoyed the ocean.

Survivors include his wife, Diane (Ruzich) Horton; a daughter, Alison; two sons, Nathaniel and Geoffrey; five grandchildren, Kayla McCullen, Marisa and Ashley Horton, Maylea and Rachel Rothvoss, two great grandchildren, Parker and Emerson McCullen; three sisters, Joanne Bullis, Valerie Ruzich, Kimberlee Alterio and a brother, Kent Horton.

Calling hours and burial will be at the convenience of the family.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 11AM on Saturday, October 20, 2012 from the Bangall Methodist Church, Stanfordville, NY with Rev. Steve Knutsen officiating.

In lieu of Flowers memorial contributions are requested to Hospice Inc. 374 Violet Ave. Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
