Cleto Guglielmetti

Cleto Guglielmetti, 84 of Pine Plains, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday July 25, 2010 at his residence.

He was born on May 27, 1926 in Pradovera Farini, Piacenza Italy a son of Bonfiglio and Maddelena Guglielmetti.

Cleto along with his wife Rosa came to the United States in 1956. They were married on September 4, 1955 in Italy.

He was a veteran serving with the Italian Army.

Mr. Guglielmetti was employed by Union Local # 780 in New York City as a cement mason.

Cleto was a communicant of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Pine Plains and a member and past president of the Italian American Club, Societa Val' Trebbia e Val' Nure.

Survivors include his loving wife Rosa and his beloved son Louis, both of Pine Plains; two brothers, Gino Guglielmetti of Bronx, NY and Mario Guglielmetti of Italy along with several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday July 28, 2010 at 11 AM at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Pine Plains, NY. The Rev. William White, pastor will officiate.

Friends are invited and may call on Tuesday July 27, 2010 from 1 -3 PM & 5 - 8 PM at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, 7749 S. Main St in Pine Plains.

Private interment will be at the convenience of the family.
