Cheryl Lynne Van De Bogart

Cheryl Van De Bogart, 75, of Hillsdale passed away comfortably at home on August 13, 2024. Born on January 6, 1949 in Great Barrington, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Oliver Parsons Sr. and Marion (Link) Parsons. She grew up in the Copake Lake area and spent her entire life in the Roe Jan area.

Cheryl will be remembered as a loving mother, who was always committed to her family. She enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and had an immense love for her dogs.

She is survived by her four children, Tammy Hart, Jason, Todd and Michael Van De Bogart. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her sister, Donna Parson and numerous nieces & nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Kenneth Parsons Jr.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt Thank You, to the Community Hospice of Columbia & Greene Counties for their guidance and support. Also, a special Thank You to her daughter in law, Marion and good friend Georgia, for their unwavering care and help.

In keeping with Cheryl’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
