Charlotte V. West

Pine Plains, NY - Charlotte V. West, 92, previously from Stanfordville, NY passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the Baptist Home at Brookmeade in Rhinebeck, NY.

She was born in Stanfordville, NY on August 13, 1918 the daughter of the late George and Emma (Lyons) Moore.

Mrs. West worked for Battistoni Restaurant in Stanfordville, and later managed the Chris Restaurant in Pine Plains, NY.

She is survived by two daughters, Pamela and her husband Jack Meccariello Jr. of Pine Plains, NY; Debra and her husband Henry Staats Jr. of Pine Plains, NY; twelve grandchildren, Laurie Meccariello, Jack Meccariello III, Matthew Meccariello, Jennifer Staats, Henry Staats III, Joanne Sherman, Jay Sherman, Dan Sherman, Becky Jayne, Michele West, Michael West and Louis K West III; nine great grandchildren, Amanda Meccariello Longest, Giacomo Meccariello IV, Brandon Meccariello, Jacqueline Buchal, Gregory Buchal, Madeline Buchal, Sara Jayne, Kelly Thomkins, and Kelsey Thomkins; one great-great grandson Giacomo Meccariello V, as well as several other great-great grandchildren; and two nieces Peggy Flinn and Shirley Jenks.

She was predeceased by her husband, Louis K. West Sr.; a son, Louis K. West Jr.; a daughter, Nannette Mary Jayne; a granddaughter, Nannette Sherman; four sisters, Violet Withers, Gladys Sherman, Ida Mock, and Ethel Campbell; and two brothers, Ray Moore and Tom Moore.

Calling hours are from 6 to 8 pm on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home South Main St. Pine Plains, NY.

Private services will be held on Monday at the Stanford Cemetery, Stanfordville, New York.
