Canaan, CT - Carol Ann Dinsmore, 77, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Vassar Brother's Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY.
She was born in Danbury, CT on February 1, 1936 the daughter of William and Edith (Renner) Benson.
Carol was an office manager for Trotter's Supermarket in Sharon, CT and also Millerton, NY.
Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie and her husband, James Silvernail of Copake Falls, NY; a son, George and his wife, Natalie Sandone of Pine Plains, NY; four grandchildren, Jamie, Kevin, Brittany and Mikayla; a brother, Ralph and his wife, Linda Benson of Canaan, CT; also survived by a niece and four nephews.
She was predeceased by a grandson, William Silvernail.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 8, from 4 to 7 PM at the Peck & Peck Funeral Homes 7749 South Main St. Pine Plains, NY 12567.
Funeral service and interment will be private and at the convenience of family.
