Calvin "Kimmy" Pendergast

Pine Plains, NY - Calvin "Kimmy" Pendergast, 56, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at home.

He was born on December 11, 1958 in Rhinebeck, NY the son of Chester F. and Kathryn M. (Bellinger) Pendergast.

Mr. Pendergast was a self-employed caretaker. Kimmy had many odd jobs during his life ranging from dishwashing, working at Kodak, fireworks and the family painting business. His final choice in life was caring for his Mom which will continue as they left us together.

Kim's dedication to his Mom in her final years is something for him to be proud of and was greatly appreciated by the surviving family members. He will be missed dearly.

Kimmy is survived by his brother Charles "Pat" Pendergast and his wife Connie of Staatsburg; a sister Carol Pendergast, of Arizona.

He has five nieces and one nephew; Cheryl Hudek (Tom), Carol Hosier (Rich), Donna Hosier (Jeff), Tina Smith (Kyle), Patty Williams (Ryan) and John Kemp Jr.

Kim has eleven great-nieces/nephews and two great-great-nieces/nephews.

Kimmy was predeceased by his father, Chester F Pendergast

There are no calling hours.

Graveside service will be held at 9 AM Saturday, Nov. 14, in Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains, with Deacon Jackie Jefferson officiating.
