Betty A. Slater

Betty Ann Slater, 70, of Germantown passed away on October 11, 2022 at Columbia Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 19, 1952 in Sharon, Connecticut to the late Homer and Helen (Pelkey) Miller. Betty was an avid bowler, and had a love for butterflies. She also enjoyed puzzles and spending time with her family.

Betty is survived by her husband, John S. Slater, her four children, Lila Smith, Jeannie Slater, Johnny Slater and Zachery Slater. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. Betty is also survived by her siblings, Michael Miller, Sally Wachtel, John Miller, James Miller, Rosemary Gansowski, & JoAnn Hoyt.

Betty was also predeceased by her daughter, Jennifer Miller, and two sisters, Stella Slater and Annie Miller.

A time for sharing of memories and offering condolences to the family will be on Friday, October 14, 2022, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Peck and Peck Funeral Homes, 7749 S. Main Street, Pine Plains, New York. Where a funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 10:00am. Interment will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Red Hook.
