Barbara Ann Dunlavey

Barbara Ann Dunlavey, 86, passed away on 03/06/2021 at the Baptist Home at Brookmeade, Rhinebeck, NY.

Barbara was born on February 17, 1935 in Bangall, NY to Charles and Rita (Shook) Hanlon and was raised in Stanfordville NY.  On July 4,1953 she married Francis (Frank) Dunlavey Sr. Frank passed on October 6, 2019.  Barbara and Frank raised their 3 sons in Stanfordville, NY and later in Verbank, NY.  They spent their retirement years in Millerton, NY.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Jeff Dunlavey and his wife Christina of Millerton, Frank Dunlavey Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Red Hook, and Scott Dunlavey and his wife Jeanne Lanahan of Verbank.  She is also survived by a sister Alma (Love) and her husband Eugene Campbell of Stanfordville, a brother Charles Hanlon and his wife Carol of Clinton Corners, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by brothers William Hanlon and Frank Hanlon, and sisters Regina DeMaroney and Janice King.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Peck & Peck Funeral Home, Pine Plains, NY. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Stanfordville, NY.
