Anthony Postighone

Hudson, NY - Anthony Postighone, 49, was called home by his parents on Monday, September 5, 2016. He passed away with his loving family at his side. He will be greatly missed by all.

He was born on February 21, 1967 in Yonkers, NY. The son of the late Carmine P. "Sonny" and Angela "Ann" (Apadula) Postighone Sr.

Anthony always had a smile and a handshake to everyone he would meet. He was an avid listener of country music, his favorite bands included: Alabama, Exile and Sawyer Brown. He also loved his game shows, including Match Game, Family Feud, Press Your Luck, and special memorabilia to the Three Stooges.

He was a communicant of Our Lady of Hope.

Survivors include his three sisters, Theresa (Paul John) Proper Jr. of West Copake, NY; Rosemarie Postighone of Hudson, NY; Marianne (Donald) Stickles of Hudson, NY; a brother, Carmine "Butch" Postighone Jr. of Morris, NY; a niece, Crystal Postighone of Morris, NY; two nephews, Nicholas and Bryan Proper of West Copake, NY; and a great nephew, Noah Proper of West Copake, NY.

Calling hours are Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 4 to 7 PM at Peck & Peck Funeral Home, 8063 Rte 22 Copake, NY 12516.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM on Friday, September 9, 2016 from Our Lady of Hope Parish, 8074 Rte. 22 in Copake Falls, NY. The Rev. George Brennan will officiate.

Interment will follow in New St. Bridget's Cemetery, where he will be buried lovingly between his mom and dad.
