She was born on August 19, 1928 in the Bronx, NY, the daughter of the late Patrick and Helen(McLaughlin) Crowley.

Anne met her husband of 62 years, John Turbet, while working at Morgan Guaranty Trust Co. in NY. She also worked for Singer Sewing Co. and Good Samaritan Hospital, both on Long Island. Past activities included serving as a Meals on Wheels volunteer, Rosary Society member, Eucharistic Minister, as well as being a member of the Young at Hearters, and participating in many activities and shows in Ashley/ Cresthaven in FL. Hobbies included singing, dancing, performing in shows, exercising, and traveling.

Anne was very proud of her Irish heritage. She was 1st generation Irish and always enjoyed an Irish sing-a-long or dancing the Irish jig. A highlight of her life was when she and her husband traveled with the Young at Hearters to Ireland, where she actually met one of her cousins.
