Andrea Nicole Dennis

Andrea Nicole Dennis, 44 of Copake, NY passed away on Wednesday July 20, 2016 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson.

She was born in Hudson on June 17, 1972 the daughter of the late Lawrence and Sharon (Fitch) Brown.

Andrea was a graduate of Taconic Hills Central School and attended both Pace University and Columbia - Greene Community College,

She was a valued and dedicated employee of Ski Butternut for over 17 years serving as their business manager.

Andrea was a member of the Copake United Methodist Church, enjoyed gardening and playing the piano. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and her family.

Survivors include her children Madeleine Dennis and Benjamin Dennis along with their father Frederick, all of Philmont. She also leaves her brother and sister in law, Anthony and Jill Brown of Mill Valley, CA; her paternal grandmother Bernice Bussett of West Copake and a great aunt, Barbara Gobillot of West Copake.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 23, 2016 at 11 AM from the Copake United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Rogers officiating.

Calling hours are private. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the Copake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers kindly consider a contribution to college funds for her children, Madeleine Dennis and Benjamin Dennis.
