Rev. Kenneth Phesay Obituary

Pastor Ken Phesay passed away on February 25, 2024 at Stratton VA Medical Center. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life's challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Ken came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.

As a veteran of the US Navy, he not only served his country with honor, but also carried those values of duty, sacrifice and loyalty into his ministry. Ken served as pastor of both Trinity UMC and Alford UMC. He was an active member of American Legion Post 340, a life-member of the Copake Fire Department, a former Master Mason at Hillsdale Lodge #612, a member of the Copake Park Commission and the Boy Scouts of America.

Ken is survived by his wife Carol, and their three children: Ken and his wife Noelle, Andrew and Krista and her husband Brian. He was a proud Papa to Christian, Eric, Samantha, Mitchell, Logan, Sara and Abigail. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Mildred, and his grandson Nicklas.

Visitation will be Friday, March 1, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Peck & Peck Funeral Homes, 8063 Route 22, Copake, NY.
