Jeannine Demski

Jeannine A. Demski, 72, of Claverack, passed away on April 20, 2024 surrounded by her family at Columbia Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 3, 1951 in Chicago, to the late James & Peggy Lies. Jeannine worked for the Hudson City School District as a teachers aide for 31 years until her retirement. After retiring she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed the Adirondacks, especially Bolton Landing and taking trips with her friend Darlene. She was a loving grandmother who was devoted to spending many hours with her grandchildren as possible. 

Jeannine is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Demski, her three devoted children, Kevin (Dawn) Cook, Delores Nyerges, and Samantha (Josh) Plass. Her three adoring grandchildren, Nicole & Lacey Nyerges and Brantley Plass. 

In addition to her parents she was also predeceased by her siblings Vance, Irene, Randy and Wendy.

A time for sharing memories and offering condolences will be on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 11:00 am to 2:00pm at Peck & Peck Funeral Homes, 8063 Route 22, Copake. Where a prayer service will begin at 2:00pm. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
